APSD which is a short form for Automatic Power Save Delivery is a power saving mechanism in devices in wireless network. In APSD, the device sending frames spends more time in sleep mode and is in active state only when transmission is needed. APSD increases the energy efficiency of the devices in a wireless LAN.
