What is the difference between SPI and SSI?

SPI and SSI are serial interfaces for controllers. They are used for connecting memories, sensors, displays, encoders and any other SPI devices. SPI is single ended while SSI is differential. SSI can be used as single ended interface as well if we want single ended SSI interface. RS422 is an example of SSI interface.
