Learning Artificial Intelligence - Part 1

If you are browsing a net and see that some thing in your favorite list pops out then there is some intelligence involved in the background who is helping systems to take a decision. If you are on a shipping on a Mobile Application and the App suggests based on your interests, there is again some intelligence involved. If a Mobile Application is identifying a face and in turn taking a decision, there is some deep processing involved there.  Every time these activities happen, there is intense data processing happening in the background using complex programs. These are just an example of applications of Artificial Intelligence. Ultimately, Artificial Intelligence (AI) helps machines interpret the data and also take smart decisions based on the predefined programs. Whatever may be the software, it requires some hardware and especially with Embedded systems there are lot of applications where AI can  play it's part.

Artificial Intelligence is a branch of Computer science and is one of the trending technologies in the market. Machine Learning and Deep learning are part of Artificial Intelligence. Deep Learning is a subset of Machine Learning. Artificial Intelligence has it's wings wide spread and there are several real time applications in different domains. The Machine learning algorithms are now part of different chip sets including small 8-bit micro controllers and high performance processors. Artificial Intelligence has not just stopped with data processing, it has extended to intensive Audio, video, graphics processing as well. The Graphical processing units (GPU) in the market run deep learning algorithms.

Deep Learning algorithms use various types of Neural networks for performing complex tasks. Neural networks mimic the functionality of neurons in our brain.
