Simple Water Tank Level Indicator circuit

 

• This is based on the fact that water is a conductor of electricity. If you are in a region where the water is salty, this works much better.
• GREEN LED glows when water is at a LOW LEVEL
• Both YELLOW and GREEN LED glow when water reaches MEDIUM LEVEL
• All LED - RED, GREEN, YELLOW glow when water reaches FULL LEVEL
• Tune the resistor based on the LED you select
• Select a rechargeable battery
• Implement a ON/OFF switch to see the status of water only when needed to save battery
• The wires must run to a level till the respective color dots are indicated
• This is basic circuit and can be tailored to as much complexity as possible with automated options
