Isolated MOSFET driver circuit using TLP250

 

• TLP250 is an opto isolator IC
• Operating Voltage of TLP250 is 10-35V. 
• Two batteries of 9V each are connected in series, so a total of 18V is used to power from TLP250
• The input to opto coupler is a control signal from microcontroller 
• The output of opto coupler drives base of MOSFET
• A load is drives through this MOSFET

For any circuit which requires isolated drive, this circuit can be used.
