There are Embedded Engineers distributed across this globe with varied experience. The engineers vary from fresh graduates and we can see guys who have seen in and out of Embedded with tips and calculations on their tips. The demand for Embedded Engineers have increased manifold in the recent years. Often fresh graduates confuse with VLSI and Embedded Systems and these both are different streams of Electronics. Now before going into the depth of this streams, let us come back to the topic that troubles most of the Engineers working in Embedded Domain.
The major problem with Embedded Engineers in the recent years is that they assume lot of things in the design. The "Assumption" made by Engineers here is the biggest mistake they make in designs. By just going through Google and some references, people start designing without in-depth knowledge of the subject. This applies to both Embedded Hardware and Embedded Firmware Engineers. One has to understand that designing a small circuit or writing a small code snippet requires a lot of insight and research. If we are picking some reference from somewhere and designing your circuit or finishing your Firmware, you are definitely prone to failure. And even the same must have been experienced by Engineers world wide. After their design is finished, they tend to waste lot of time on debugging the circuit. To explain this more precisely to an Engineer, when he is working on analog inputs of Microcontroller, he has to understand the sampling requirements, scan time of analog input, impedance requirements, filtering requirements, interrupt requirements in firmware, the resolution of the reading, understanding final product environment conditions, etc to come up with a precise ADC input reading. One of the best solution to eliminate this assumptions scenario is to read the datasheets thoroughly. Now most of the people raise a question that without reading the datasheet nothing is possible. there is more than reading to done with the datasheets. The engineers have to understand, analyze and apply the specifications in the datasheets in their designs. Datasheets and Reference manuals are like bible for the Embedded engineers.

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog and
ReplyDeletewas curious what all is needed to get setup? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would
cost a pretty penny? I'm not very web smart so
I'm not 100% positive. Any recommendations
or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Starting and managing blog like this doesn't cost you any penny.. Infact, if you can have great content and ability to broadcast that, you can earn.. The major thing with blogging is you must patience to keep interest for years, if you have patience, you can succeed without doubt..
ReplyDeleteThanks for the explanation. It’s really helpful. Please keep sharing
