Smart IoT based water level sensing for overhead tanks - Part 10 (Approximate sensitivity of ESP-01)

The above specifications are the receiver sensitivity specifications of ESP-01 module. Now, practically, we will see how to determine at what sensitivity is ESP-01 is working at. For this download any WiFi Signal detect applications like "WiFi Signal meter". 

Let us keep the ESP-01 module at a distance from your WiFi router and powered ON. Test that ESP-01 is able to send data.

Now let us open the "WiFi Signal meter" App and move to the location where the ESP-01 is placed. As per below snapshot, we can see that at -76dBm also ESP-01 is able to transmit data. You can move the Wi-Fi to a longer distance and see how it is performing at decreased Wi-Fi signal strength.
