Arduino Uno Q Board Overview – Key Components You Must Know (Part 1)

Let us get onto the Arduino Uno Q buzz. The Arduino Uno Q is one of the newest additions to the Arduino family, offering improved features, advanced connectivity options, and a refreshed design. In this first part of the series, we will break down the main components on the Arduino Uno Q board and understand what each part does.

Whether you are a beginner, a hobbyist, or an embedded engineer, this guide will help you quickly understand the core hardware that powers the Uno Q.

The below Arduino hardware overview shows the top layer of the board.

The below Arduino hardware overview shows the bottom layer of the board.

While the QRB2210 handles the high end applications, the generic SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO are supported by the STM32 Microcontroller.

The board includes a preloaded bootloader that allows uploading sketches without an external programmer. We will explore more in the coming articles.
