Temperature Controlled DC Fan
- The above circuit operates the fan based on the temperature.
- Temperature is sensed by the Thermistor
- Thermistor is NTC type where the resistance decreases with increasing temperature
- Select the Thermistor and resistor based on the Temperature requirements
- The voltage division between the Thermistor and 1.2K drives the Transistor
- Transistor is a NPN darlington transistor and must have the capability to sink the current
- The sink current shall depend on the DC fan current
- The other Darlington transistors that can be used are ZTX605, BD681, etc
