Working on Raspberry Pi 3 - Part 1

Step 1:
If your system doesn't have the Linux installed, go to the below link for download. We will be using the UBUNTU.

Download the Ubuntu from the below link:
old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/14.04.0

From the above link, download the version that suits your system.
If required you can download the latest vesion of UBUNTU as well.

Step 2:
To install this .iso file of UBUNTU, we have to make a bootable USB stick.
To make the USB stick bootable, there are several tools available.
We have used the Universal USB installer from below link:

Step 3:
Open the above tool is downloaded, open the tool and browse the .iso file to convert it to bootable form.

Step 4:
Once you complete the above step, restart your PC and change the bios settings in your PC to USB booting and finish the installation.
Your Linux system is ready.

Step 5:
Download the latest kernel image from the below link:
https://www.kernel.org/
Download the latest kernel.
The present stable kernel version is 4.9.9
